Stop getting text to voice messages on your landline

Stop BT’s automated text calls to your landline

When someone sends a text to your landline BT will convert it so that an automated voice reads it out to you. Unfortunately BT then tries to call you to deliver this message repeatedly and often annoyingly throughout the night.

Change the times you receive them or stop receiving them altogether by dialling the following free from your landline (don’t block your number being transmitted to them or they won’t know which number to apply it to):

You can stop them, or set different curfew times to not receive them, by calling 0800 587 5252 from the landline you’re receiving them on.
